Vegetable Stir-Fry (Asian Style) 

A quick, colorful stir-fry packed with crisp-tender vegetables and bold Asian flavors. Perfect as a light meal or a hearty side with rice or noodles.

Ingredients (Serves 2–3): 

  • 1 cup broccoli florets 
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced 
  • 1 carrot, julienned 
  • 1 cup snow peas 
  • ½ cup mushrooms, sliced 
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce 
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil 
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar or lime juice 
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced 
  • 1 tsp ginger, minced 
  • Optional: sesame seeds, chopped green onions, chili flakes 

Instructions

  1. Heat Wok: Heat sesame oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. 
  1. Sauté Aromatics: Add garlic and ginger. Stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant. 
  1. Add Veggies: Add broccoli, carrots, and bell pepper. Stir-fry for 2 minutes. 
  1. Add Quick-Cooking Veggies: Toss in mushrooms and snow peas. Stir-fry another 2–3 minutes until just tender but still crisp. 
  1. Season: Pour in soy sauce and rice vinegar. Toss to coat. 
  1. Finish & Serve: Remove from heat. Garnish with sesame seeds or green onions if desired. Serve hot.
